The right fit for the best walking shoe choice starts with identifying your arch. So start with this simple tip. Wet your foot and step onto a piece of leftover cardboard. You can get a good indication to the type of foot you have. Trace around the wet mark, cut it out and take it with you to the shoe store. Bring your own athletic socks to the store. Get measured in the store. Make sure to get 1/2 to a full size larger as your foot swells while walking and running.
